Bio

My name is Michael, and I grew up in the Pacific Northwest. I graduated from Western Seminary in 2023 with a Master of Arts in Counseling. I love the outdoors and make it a priority in my life. I see a strong connection between the outdoors and the counseling world, as we all experience mountaintop highs, valley lows, and everything in between.
How we navigate these experiences often reflects how we interact with others in society. Life, like the outdoors, requires preparation—without it, the wilderness can overwhelm us. I take a person-centered approach, blending Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and narrative-based theories to help you overcome the obstacles in your life
