Bio
I have experience as a therapist and supervisor providing care at multiple levels of care, which include outpatient counseling, residential inpatient, acute care inpatient, and outreach in the community and school based counseling. Through that process, I had extensive experience with anxiety, depression, PTSD, addiction, and co-occurring. Developed a FAST track curriculum, which is an integration of a variety of modalities for school programs in our community that provided opportunities for youth to explore their goals and learn skills to assist their success to meet their goals.I have facilitated a variety of workshops and trainings throughout my career. In addition, I have been actively involved and providing individual and couples counseling in ministry since 2015. I strive to empower individuals, families and couples to overcome personal obstacles to improve their life. Using clinically evidenced-based interventions, I have worked with 100’s of clients since 2012. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Children’s Mental Health Specialist and Chemical Dependency Professional who is passionate about providing holistic care. I have had the opportunity to counsel all ages from pre-adolescent to adulthood. My theoretical foundations are person-centered, strength-based, psychodynamic, family systems, cognitive therapy, and solution-focused. I provide individual, family, couple and group therapy. As a therapist, my belief is to explore authenticity. Authentic is the perfect word to describe the relationship with clients and families in my practice. It is also a great word to describe the opportunity I would like to offer in therapy to my clients; an opportunity of finding restoration to their authentic selves; an opportunity to redeem an authentic life of freedom, joy, meaning, value, purpose, and happiness.
