Find Counselors by Location

We work to accommodate location/counselor requests and recognize the preference of those.  In situations where a location or counselor may be full, we may offer an alternative option with another location/counselor that you are welcome to accept or decline.

Bio

I have experience working with a variety of issues, such as trauma (PTSD), anxiety, depression, grief, relationship challenges, postpartum depression, parenting, and life transitions, among others. I strive to create a warm and inviting space where you can share your thoughts and emotions with compassion and without fear of judgment. Clients who come to see me seek a warm, relatable, and empathetic therapist who believes in connection and curiosity. I view therapy as a collaborative process to help clients recognize strengths, identify needs, break unhealthy patterns, and make informed choices that are congruent with their values.

My approach is integrative and often includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Poly-vagal. I work with individuals and teens. I believe that achieving goals takes collaboration and care.
A bit about myself:  I am a global citizen, holding nationality in both Canada and the United States, with Dutch ancestry. I am a wife and a mother of two young boys.  I love international travel, coffee, and exploring the PNW with my family.
