Lisa practices a person-centered, solution focused therapy with a primary goal of seeing you achieve freedom from the negative emotions, thoughts, and experiences that are hurting and holding you back from living your best life. As your therapist, Lisa will employ an array of evidenced based practices, such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Lifespan Integration Therapy to help you find the best solutions for your particular challenges. Lisa works with individuals including children, youth and adults of all ages.
Counseling is my calling, and helping you find resolution for what is not working in your life is my highest goal. As your therapist, I bring intentional listening skills, professional insight, and a safe, no-judgement space in which we can partner together to reach solutions that work for you. I believe that every person deserves "unconditional positive regard" and in our relationship you will know that I am on your side and working hard with you to find peace, hope, and a way forward.
With personal expertise in managing a host of life events, including grief and loss, depression and anxiety, major illness, marriage, parenting challenges, and aging issues, I offer not just professional tools and resources, but personal wisdom gleaned from my own life journey.
