Get to Know Our Counselors

We aim to match each client with the provider who best fits their needs, preferences, and goals. Our team of providers is diverse in background, approach, and expertise, allowing us to support a wide range of client experiences. If you’re unsure which provider you'd like to work with, our team is here to guide you through the process and help you find the right fit. Please note that provider availability is always in flux, and while we do our best to accommodate preferences, we may occasionally offer alternative options based on current openings.

Bio

Hello, I'm Tara, a Graduate student studying clinical social work at  Portland state University. I have spent the past 5 years working with primarily young women and teenagers as well as adults facing a variety of mental health challenges. I am deeply committed to developing a strong therapeutic relationship where you feel safe to express all parts of yourself and feel seen and respected in this process. I utilize attachment theory, internal family systems and somatic experiencing techniques to identify root causes and well worn mental pathways that keep us stuck. My hope is that in working together you find more mental freedom, a deeper connection to yourself and others, as well as a release from the patterns and memories that have caused you pain or difficulty. Outside of the office I enjoy time in nature, sailing, crocheting and listening to live music.

I am honored to support you in your journey of becoming, and applaud you for taking a leap!
