Find Counselors by Location

We work to accommodate location/counselor requests and recognize the preference of those.  In situations where a location or counselor may be full, we may offer an alternative option with another location/counselor that you are welcome to accept or decline.

Clinical Intern

Intern Supervisor: Lindsey Russett

Bio

I am a counselor-in-training currently pursuing my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Capella University. With a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a minor in Psychology, I bring a strong foundation in understanding the biological and psychological factors that shape mental health. My professional experience as a Certified Behavioral Technician in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) has given me the opportunity to work directly with children, adolescents, and their families, particularly within neurodiverse populations. Through this work, I have developed skills in behavioral assessment, collaborative treatment planning, and building supportive therapeutic relationships.

My clinical focus is on serving diverse populations across all ages, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses, with a special dedication to the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals in non-traditional relationships. I am passionate about providing culturally responsive, person-centered care that affirms each client’s unique identity and lived experience.

I am eager to continue developing my clinical skills in a practicum and internship setting at Real Life Counseling that emphasizes holistic, evidence-based, and compassionate care, and I am committed to contributing meaningfully to the mission of fostering growth, healing, and resilience in all clients.

Areas Of Focus

As a counseling intern, my area of focus is working with individuals across all ages, creeds, cultural backgrounds, and socioeconomic statuses. I am especially dedicated to serving the LGBTQIA+ community and individuals in non-traditional relationships, creating a space where authenticity, identity, and relational diversity are fully honored. My goal is to provide an affirming, compassionate, and collaborative counseling environment that acknowledges systemic barriers while fostering resilience, healing, and personal growth.
