Bio
I am a Master’s level counseling intern pursuing my degree through Oregon State University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. I provide counseling services for clients of all ages, genders, and identities via Telehealth. I closely align with the tenets and worldview of Narrative Therapy and Person-Centered Therapy, but I also recognize that each person’s identity is unique and requires an individualized approach to care. Our past shapes us into the people we are today. Over time, we may begin to carry certain parts of our life history as a blueprint for what is possible for ourselves and our futures. I believe that a nonjudgmental and curiosity-focused exploration of your personal story is essential to enact lasting change. I hope to collaborate with my clients always the expert on their life. As their counselor, I am an advocate and inquisitive partner along the way. My goal is to empower my clients see their lives as being full of opportunity and possibility; there is always more to your story.
In my personal life, I am an avid reader and tea-drinker. My favorite poet is Mary Oliver. I enjoy watching sci-fi shows, visiting lighthouses along the Oregon coast, and spending time with my family and two sweet dogs.
