Bio

Hi there! I consider it an honor and privilege to walk beside you on your mental health journey to well-being and fulfillment. I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in
2014 from Linfield University in McMinnville, OR with an Exercise Science major and Psychology minor. I worked in various capacities helping people with their physical health in fields such as personal training and physical therapy before going back to graduate school to pursue further education in psychology and mental health. In 2022, I graduated with a Master of Arts degree from the CACREP accredited George Fox University in Portland, OR in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I have experience working with a wide range of individuals from young teens to elderly adults struggling with various mental health concerns such as anxiety, mood disorders (depression, bipolar), anger management, trauma related disorders, life transitions, academic and career problems, self-esteem challenges, grief, ADHD management, and stress management. This has come primarily through working in community mental health clinics where I’ve supported individuals from diverse backgrounds and life experiences at Columbia River Mental Health Services in Vancouver, WA during my grad school internship and then at Real Life Community Behavioral Health also in Vancouver, WA before joining RLC in 2024.

As a licensed mental health counselor (LMHC) in the state of Washington, I bring both professional expertise and heartfelt compassion to my practice as I am dedicated to
helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and discover their inner strengths. My therapeutic approach is deeply rooted in Carl Rogers’ (the founder of Person-Centered
Therapy) belief in the actualizing tendency, or the inherent drive within all individuals to grow, heal, and reach their fullest potential. I view therapy as a collaborative space to
nurture this natural process by fostering a safe, nonjudgmental, and empathetic environment where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences freely. While I utilize Person-Centered Therapy as a foundation, I tailor my methods to your unique needs and integrate techniques such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Strengths-Based Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, mindfulness, and trauma-informed approaches depending on what problem you are seeking help with. My goal is to create a collaborative and empowering experience where your growth and resilience can flourish.

Outside of counseling, you’ll often find me hiking and exploring nature, playing and watching various sports, weight training at the gym, reading books, going to music
concerts, practicing blues guitar, and spending quality time with friends and family. It’s an honor to walk alongside my clients as they embrace their inner potential and create
meaningful change in their lives. If you’re ready to take the first (or a continuing) step on this journey, I’m here to support you every step of the way.
