Bio

Deciding to start counseling can be daunting... even more daunting than trying to write this bio! Hi, I'm Lindy: licensed clinical social worker , challenger of social norms, and iced coffee enthusiast.
 
My heart for this work is in my upbringing. I spent a majority of my K-12 years in special education, pushing back against labels and stereotypes. Then I decided to spend seven more years in education, which culminated in a Master of Social Work degree from Portland State University. 
 
I want to help you become your favorite version of yourself. In our work together, I'll encourage you to reflect on your values and dreams, incorporating modalities such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, existential therapy, and narrative storytelling.
