Bio

Hi there! My name is Esmeralda Quiroz, and I am a graduate student at Capella University pursuing a degree in social work. I earned my bachelor’s degree at WSUV, and shortly after, I realized my passion for supporting children in the foster care system. I began my career in 2017 with a foster care agency, and over time, I knew I wanted to make an even greater impact on this population.

As a Latina woman, I am deeply committed to supporting diverse communities, including children, families, and LGBTQ individuals. Pursuing a degree in social work enables me to enhance my skills, allowing me to provide meaningful, one-on-one support to clients as they navigate life’s challenges. I strongly believe that we are all doing the best we can, and sometimes people need guidance, understanding, and encouragement along the way. My goal is to be a supportive presence, helping clients grow, heal, and thrive.
