I am a current graduate student at Capella University, completing my Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I bring a warm and welcoming atmosphere to my counseling style, promoting exploration and openness. I believe change is possible when people can understand themselves and others perspectives. Therapy is a collaborative process that works from the client's framework, being the expert in their own life. Exploring multiple aspects of one's life can build a more robust understanding of what has resulted has resulted in them being where they are in their lives. I strive to meet you where you are and explore past experiences, emotional stressors, and social struggles. I operate from a cognitive-behavioral and reality therapy perspective and take from other theory-based interventions to promote wellness and meet the client's needs. I center my work around a strength-based, solution-focused, and person-centered approach.
