Bio


Virginia is a life enhancer, story hunter, connector, writer and dark chocolate enthusiast. She's played many roles throughout her career including psychotherapist-in-training, entrepreneur, social marketing professional, speaker, trainer, and mediator. She has a serious thirst for knowledge and acquiring new skill sets. 
She is a Therapist-in-Training at an agency. Virginia is finishing her Master of Arts degree in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Oregon State University. In the past, she has provided in-person, remote (Zoom via VPN) or hybrid individual and family counseling services utilizing a strength-based approach. Virginia has also colead conversations in substance abuse/recovery groups for mandated and self-referred group members. She is interested in exploring research in how neurobiopsychosocial interactions affect the length and depth of the grieving process. Virginia seeks to work with those affected by trauma, loss, and grief. She hopes to help clients write new chapters in the lives....more meaningful ones. 
Other education includes: Master of Science of Conflict and Dispute Resolution from the University of Oregon. She has several years of informal conflict resolution experience and mediation experience. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Houston. Familiar and fluent in HIPAA compliant, project management, administrative software, file transfer platforms, email & content management systems. 
Her feet are always touching the ground. In her down time, she's working out, developing new skill sets, baking sweet treats and looking for ways to improve the lives of others.
