Bio


A dedicated intern counselor is looking to serve demographic of individuals, couples, and
families. One of the intern counselor motivations behind following the helping profession is the
mental illness struggle of his family member and its impacts in his family of origin.
The counselor has a background of pre marriage and marriage couples and family counseling
experience in his primary language. He has been joyfully practicing individual therapeutic skills in
school and private settings. Structured, guided, and raised two girls collaborated with his spouse and
successfully helped them to attend college level of education. He developed skills of interpersonal
communication through serving the church community members who struggle in conflict and helping
them to come to good terms. He developed character, commitment, and dedication to growth
through his background of professional service of Ethiopian Naval Force and current customer service.
The Counselor believes that each individual person has an internal ability of self-actualization
and to realize his/her maladaptive behaviors to replace them with more productive ones. The
counselor prefers a person-centered approach to address the individual unique of mental illness
symptoms and problems. He emphasizes the client’s safety, curiosity, genuineness, nonjudgmental
and emphatical approach. One take away for the client from the counselor bio would be assuring that
“Intentionally making sure the counseling space is owned by the client.”
Education: Master of Art in Counseling Student (Intern)
Character: Positive, Encouraging, Peace with people, and family oriented, and dedicated to goals.
Hobbies: Soccer, Martial Art, Travel, Serving people, and collecting funny words on bumper stickers.
