Bio

I’m a licensed Clinical Social Worker with both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work. My Master’s brought me to the field of mental health in 2008. Prior to obtaining my Master’s degree in Social Work, I worked in a residential treatment center for women with substance abuse, many of which had co-occurring disorders and struggled with their own mental health.

For over a decade I have worked in Clark County in the mental health field in various settings including residential mental health and as an emergency room social worker, working with people in crisis. I have experience working with people from different backgrounds and various mental health backgrounds, including those with depression, bipolar, anxiety, psychosis, substance abuse as well as personality disorders. One area of focus that has a personal connection for me is women who struggle with fertility issues as well as anxiety and related to pregnancy and motherhood. I have been described as easy to talk to. I practice from a genuine and non-judgmental place. I’m here to support you through your journey and accomplish the goals you want to achieve.

I like meeting people where they are at and helping them to be able to accomplish their goals and feel less stuck, as you are the expert in your life. I use a wide variety of therapeutic approaches to help people accomplish their goals including cognitive behavioral therapy, person centered, mindfulness, and solution focused. I want you to be comfortable taking the lead in our conversations with my guiding presence with the ultimate goal to be able to get to where you have always wanted to be in your life.
