Protected health information (PHI)

Information shared in the course of clinical care is protected health information (PHI) and is governed by HIPAA and Washington State law. Your clinical records are kept confidential and shared only with your written authorization or as required by law (for example, mandatory reporting in cases of imminent safety concerns or suspected child abuse).

Telehealth & technology

Our telehealth sessions use HIPAA-compliant video platforms. We follow industry best practices for data encryption and storage. While no system is perfectly secure, we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Washington My Health My Data Act

Children's privacy

We provide counseling services to minors with appropriate parental or guardian consent, as required by Washington State law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children online without parental consent.
