I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in the states of Washington and California. I approach counseling relationships with a collaborative and strength-based perspective utilizing multiple therapeutic models depending upon your needs. Those models include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Gottman Method, Attachment Theory, Narrative Therapy, and a Comprehensive approach to Depression, Anxiety and Mood disorder management.
I have advanced training in couple’s counseling, trauma treatment and grief. I work with individuals and families on issues with communication, depression, anxiety, emotional regulation, marital struggles, loss and trauma.
My background includes working in community mental health for a non-profit organization, serving as adjunct professor at various college campuses, administration of a small high school, director for a research based after-school program for first generation immigrant children, and I am currently working in private practice as a licensed marriage and family therapist.
