As a professional musician for over twenty years, Grace knows that there is not just one way of interpreting a situation, understands the value of actively listening to other’s impulses and musical intentions, and knows that there are many paths to creating beauty and meaning. She enjoys bringing her strong logical and artistic strengths to the field of therapy and counseling and honors the personal growth path that resonates with each individual client. No matter what the context, Grace seeks to build an environment that empowers individuals to find therapies that resonate with their own strengths, comforts, and emotional needs. She strives to interact with each client compassionately, openly, and honestly—regardless of their sexuality, gender, culture, or spiritual lens.
Grace has worked and volunteered in a variety of situations and sees all of her life experiences as a beautiful tapestry. From her work as group facilitator with The Prison Practicum for Spiritual Direction, to her work in couples counseling and pre-marriage preparation, to work strengthening relationship and communities through the lens of the Enneagram, Grace has continued to grow her own tools as a therapist in response to the needs of her clients.
Grace is a trained EMDR, EFT, and Gottman Level 1 therapist, and a trained Prepare and Enrich facilitator. She is an Enneagram facilitator and a spiritual director. She utilizes an eclectic therapeutic approach including aspects of EFT (EFiT), IFS, CBT, personality theory, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Mindfulness, and EMDR."
