Bio

Starting therapy can feel intimidating—especially when the things weighing on you involve shame, relationship pain, or the idea of change seems hopeless. I work with individuals and couples who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand and are unsure how to change. My aim is to create a space that is grounded, honest, and steady—where you can speak openly and begin building something different.

I received my Master’s degree in Counseling from Multnomah University in Portland, OR, and hold a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Nevada, Reno and am a former collegiate athlete. My clinical focus has centered on the overlap between trauma and addiction, particularly compulsive sexual behaviors, pornography addiction, other addictions, and the impact of betrayal within committed relationships. I am a Certified Sexual Addictions Therapist (CSAT-C), trained to support both individuals seeking recovery and partners navigating the aftermath of broken trust. I have experience working with a range of individuals from young teens and elderly adults who feel caught in cycles that keep them stuck and conflict with who they want to be. Areas of focus include: anxiety, depression, sexual addiction, ADHD management, anger management, relationship issues, trauma, low self esteem, and life transitions. I also work with couples trying to rebuild trust, improve communication, and restore emotional safety.

My approach is rooted in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I see people as much more than their symptoms or behaviors and believe best change is the one that comes within. I focus on developing joint collaboration with clients and finding a balance in providing both understanding and accountability. My approach centers around empowering clients toward greater self- understanding and creating new patterns that align with the values that matter most. I integrate trauma informed care, recovery frameworks, and mindfulness practices to support sustainable, long-term change.

Outside of the counseling space, I spend my time hiking, skiing, visiting the coast, weight lifting, reading about obscure history, and find solace in spiritual practices that keep me grounded. I enjoy cooking dishes for others, participating in men’s groups, and sharing laughter with family and friends. I believe we come to know ourselves most clearly in relationship—with someone who sees us honestly and stays present. If you’re feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward, you don’t have to figure it out alone. There is a path toward integrity, healing, and deeper connection—and I would be glad to walk that path with you.
