Broderick McElroy, LMFTA

Good day, I am Broderick McElroy and I'm a licensed Marriage, Couple, and Family associate (LMFTA) who was born and raised in Arkansas. I graduated from Lewis and Clark College's MCFT program in the summer of 2023. Since then I have been working with teens/children (8 and Up), couples/marriages, mid-aged adults, and with family dynamics surrounding trauma or transitions. 
I would call myself an eclectic therapist, who is client-focused and holds the belief that my clients can construct tools that are suitable for them, as we work together to discover which therapy techniques are helpful to unlocking the tool that creates a change within the client's life.  As a therapist, I hope to construct safe places for people to be authentic and real with self or others. I understand every case is unique, and clients live in a world of capitalism, dehumanization, and other discourses that bring them to the therapy space. Through deep assessment and dissection of each case thoroughly, we will construct and formulate a therapeutic course of actions to create first/second order changes as the client increases awareness of their life or behaviors toward certain discourses. My hope is to be present with clients as they face adversity and celebrate whenever they overcome.
