We work to accommodate location/counselor requests and recognize the preference of those. In situations where a location or counselor may be full, we may offer an alternative option with another location/counselor that you are welcome to accept or decline.

Bio
Allegra graduated from Portland State University with her Master in Social Work. Additionally, Allegra graduated from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Arts in Human Development, minor in psychology, and certificate in human services case management and administration. She worked at Open House Ministries with families and their children experiencing homelessness. While there, Allegra had a primary focus on working with families involved in family treatment court who were working to reunify with their children and remain clean and sober, and resource coordination. Allegra transitioned to working in community based mental health and crisis response in 2017. While there, Allegra has occupied three different roles within the agency (clinical care coordinator, therapist, and supervisor). Additionally, Allegra has worked as a social worker for the Department of Children Youth and Family Services. While there she approached families from a trauma informed lens, and supported families in meeting their needs in alignment with their overarching goals. Allegra is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Work Associate, and is recognized by the State of Washington as a Mental Health Professional (MHP).
Allegra is relationally driven, and works to collaborate with folks in therapy in their wellness journey. She tailors each session to meet the needs of the individual from a person-centered approach. She creates an individualized therapeutic alliance with you that is built from foundational values of authenticity, connection, empathy, empowerment, transparency, strength-based, unconditional positive regard, respect, and compassion. Allegra values building rapport with those she walks alongside in their journey; through that connection exploring barriers to produce meaningful growth. She appreciates and firmly believes in the process of change. She utilizes various techniques while engaged in a therapeutic partnership. She seeks to collaborate with the individual/family in creating meaningful change, while viewing each client as the expert of their own life. Allegra believes that holistic change and personally identified recovery is obtainable with those engaged in the change process being willing, transparent, and vulnerable. Allegra tailors her approach to the unique needs and strengths of each individual/family she has the honor of working with. She appreciates leaning into the journey, hearing the story, and creating a genuine partnership in achieving your treatment goals. She tends to lean into Solution-Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Narrative Focused Therapy, Tree of Life Narrative Approach Therapy, Trauma Informed, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Emotionally Focused, Reality, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Attachment-Based Therapy, Strength-Based, Rational Emotive Behavior, and Gottman Method.
In her free time Allegra enjoys spending time with her children, husband, golden doodle Lenny, family and friends. She loves to eat her favorite foods, watch documentaries, listen to audiobooks/podcasts, comedy shows, concerts, and go on vacations.
