Bio

Hi, I'm Nathan, I recently graduated from Palo Alto University. I'm a licensed mental health counselor associate who works with teens, young adults, and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQIA+ identity and relationships, and major life transitions.

I know how much it matters to have a space where you don't have to explain or defend who you are, which is why I became a therapist. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I see you as a whole person, including your identities, your history, and the communities you belong to, not just a list of symptoms. I draw on feminist theory, a minority stress framework, relational-cultural theory, and a gender-affirming lens to understand how the world around you shapes what you're feeling while finding ease within your own body and relationships.

In our work together, we'll stay grounded in the present while also exploring the past, so we can find the deeper patterns underneath what brought you in. You set the pace, and you're the expert on your own life. My role is to walk alongside you and help you build on the strengths you already have.

Outside of the therapy room, you'll probably find me at a coffee shop with friends, usually fueled by too much caffeine and about to win a board game. I'm a proud nerd, and I think a little humor and curiosity make the hard work of therapy easier.

If you're ready to take the next step, I'd love to hear from you.
